Default 2.5 liter (fase 2) performance cams fit in the 1.8 heads?

will 2.5 liter cobb tunning cams for a fase 2 ej2.5 motor fit in the 1.8 liter heads? kind of a gay question but i herd they might be able to but i rather see what you more experienced guys think.

This question was asked moons ago regarding EJ22 heads. The answer was no due to a different head design. Additionally, the cams weren't that much different (than EJ22). Maybe look into using those instead....?

Well,
Looks like I have good timing here. I took apart a 1.8 for the first time yesterday. Because of the roller rocker design of the 1.8l, the 2.2l cams will not work in a 1.8l head. But, you can take the rocker assembly from a 2.2 along with some reground 2.2l cams (like the Deltas) and bolt them right up to the 1.8l head, and vice versa...
