Default Parts stolen.

Well there didn't seem to be any place specifically for stuff like this, so I figured the forum for the place that I live is probably the best. Anyways, it seems that someone decided they needed my XEDE, Tein EDFC, G-tech Performance Meter Pro and Dynoscan interface cable more than I did. I say this because the cut all the wires to the XEDE and EDFC and stole the other things out of the glove box. This all happened right in my driveway (they got into another of our cars as well, but nothing was removed from that one) and it seems that they knew exactly what to go after.

So if anyone in the Bay Area happens to come across any of this stuff for sale from a less-than-reliable source, I'd really appreciate an email or PM on here. There's a very slim chance of ever seeing that stuff again, but hey, I figured I'd let everyone know just in case.

P.S. On the bright side, at least I can pick up an Element now without feeling too guilty about it.

Good luck with finding the stuff.

What does the Element comment mean? Why does having stuff stolen mean you can get an Element?

Sorry to hear about what happened, but scan eBay for the next three weeks. Hopefully it pops up there and you can get em.

The car's not going to run without engine management. All the maps and such I had were contained in the XEDE, so it'll need a retune anyways. I was considering changing out to the Element anyways, so since I've got to buy a new EMS now, I might as well pick up the Element instead of replacing the XEDE.

Unfortunately, no, I don't. I should have written them all down when I originally installed everything, but never did. I've gone through all the docs I've got for these things, and found no serial numbers or identification numbers to speak of. So in this aspect, I'm really screwed. It's a mistake I have no intentions of repeating though.

That's been the plan. Nothing has shown up yet though, and there are several other people out there looking as well. I kinda doubt that they'll show up at this point though, but it can't hurt to keep an eye out anyways.
