Default FS: Dented TWE headers

For sale:

TWE Super Stock Headers for a 2.5rs.
Nice increase in umph. I won't say power because I never dynod the the car.
You will get a CEL so you'll want to keep your y-pipe.

Dented on lowest tube (no lose of performance felt). Pin hole leak on opposite end by the collector. But a zap by a welder will fix that.

Since I can't post pics please pm me your email address and I will send pics that way.
Currently they are on "display" at Total if you want to see them. (thanks Cody)
They were mounted for about 10 months
I paid over $900 and so I'd like to see $500. But I am taking offers. I just want to recoop the cost of replacing my Y- pipe and Stock cats. Lesson learned, keep these items!

Reasons for selling:
Simply too low for fire road/ gravel driving (reason for the dent). I vollunteer for rallies and hike a lot so I need the ground clearence. Speed bumps are not an issue, at least they weren't for me.

I am an honest person so ask any questions.
Thanks

Shawnrs

Shawn, do you know if you got the ones that were designed to also fit the 2000~ Legacy with 5spd?
If not, Shawn is a good guy and I'd definitely recommend these to anyone as that will probably be the best $500 you could spend for power on a N/A Subaru.

Tora,

I honestly don't know if they will fit you car or not. But I don't see why not because we do share the same basic lay out. You are at Total often enough, Put the car on the lift and have a look see. It only takes 10 mins tops to check for fit.

I'm very interested and have my stock Y pipe and cats if you want those. Hopefully that'll help knock down the price a good bit.

Where's New Westminster? I'm in Calgary, but my brother and several of his buddies will be heading down to Vancouver for a trip on the 21st and staying there until the 25th. So, he could make the pick up for me, as well as swap the stock parts if you would like them.

Either way, I call dibs.

ShawnRS, you've got a PM.

I'm currently running borla headers and a TWE high flow cat. So, the stock parts are readily available. I should be able to do a very nice comparison between equal length headers and unequal length for the cumulative knowledge of the RS world.

anonymous_wolf: Yes these are equal length headers.

I'd rather sell these to someone local, honestly, so that they inspect them and be comfortable with the purchase. Local being the GVRD of course.

One person pm'd me saying that the dent looked harsh in the picture. To me its not that bad. I don't want to send them only to get a bad name afterwards. Anyway. so locals only please.

ps I am heading north for two months start next thursday. Please contact Total if you want to see them. I am back at the end of April.

Thanks
Shawn
