Default Need Help on buying an OBS

Looking to buy a 04 or 05 OBS. Docksteader has a number of "ex rental" 04's with @ 16,000 km on, asking price is $25,495 which seems a bit steep when a new 05 is $28,495 with 3.8% financing. Any comments on the price and/or buying an "ex rental"?
Thanks.

IMO they are asking for too much, but that's business

new one i think my friend paid $25800 or sth even less 2 years ago...

retail was about the 27995 back then?

when u know how ppl drives those rental or courtesy car, u might want to fork out extra $2 - $3k for a brand new one

At those prices, an extra $2k isn't going to kill you, especially for peace of mind knowing that your car hasn't been bagged on as a rental.

Are you trading anything in? This will affect the price you will get, obviously. You should be able to get $2-3k off the sticker price of the used OBS, but IMO just go for new. The financing rate is better too.

I bought used from DD and it was a great experience, I got 10% off the asking price, which is pretty fair, but I don't think I would have bought the car if I knew it had been a courtesy car. Just my 2 cents. Good luck on the purchase, and do some research before you go in to buy.

Thanks for the comments. Will be trading in our 02 TS. I too am concerned with a "rental" car. I would've expected a lot bigger discount for a one year old vehicle with 16,000 km of "rental" use. But, its just their starting point so who knows.
