when i am turning left at a slow speed (ie pulling into and out of parking spots) i get this sound. not grinding but more of a low pitch kind of creak. any thoughts? cv joint? any help you guys can give would be great?

CV Joint. My old legacy made that noise... i ignored it for a while and tried to push my luck. The axle sheared off and shredded the front left tire in my parking lot. Get 'er fixed. Instead of just a new cv joint... tire, axle, cvjoint

You have a fairly new WRX, though; it shouldn't be blowing a CV joint already. Have the dealer look at it; it might be nothing but if it really is a CV joint it should be covered under warranty.

Well, I`ve noticed some noises on some new paved parking lots and I dont know if thats what you are experiencing but worth a shot. And it happened with all the cars that pulled in and out, including mine. Have you had this noise appear when you take corners on the street at low speed?
