Why do I feel like I am sucking at teh L1fe

I am expecting lots of flaming but that's what makes OT well.... OT and I don't think I would like it any other way but on with the story....

I had a rainy day epiphany today while driving to work and I have come to the conclusion that this year has been sucking. I am feeling like such a ****ing loser; I could guess that the only reason I feel this way is because a girl I really really really liked just told me that "... she has a gut feeling that things aren't going to work out between us", which deeply hurt me. I happen to apply myself a 110% to almost everything I do and obviously my best, is not ****ing good enough. I feel that I am fortunate to meet this person and I am happy, on the outside, to still be friends with her but I think it would strike me down to see someone as great as her with someone other than me.

I reflect on this year and I really cant look back on anything I have done since January 1st , 2005 and say "wow, that was great". Maybe I am too mature for my age or maybe I just take everything too seriously but c'mon what am I doing wrong? I go to school full time, work at a law firm, drive a WRX, I am intelligent and funny and in great shape, I am good looking (at least I have been told) yet every morning I wake up feeling like I have only tapped 0.00001% of my life.

I'm sorry your girl ain't feeling you, but we all go through that same thing and you will survive it. I think you should consider cutting off contact before she finds somebody else though.

seriously, your sweet job, your sweet car, your body, what part of that is going to be good for you when you are stuck in a law firm 17+ hours a day, working your ass off so some partner can get fatter pockets. just so you can vacation in thailand a few times?

Go form there man, i love my jobs, i love very day of my life, I wake up happy, I party/have fun/work all day and live hard. I have never looked back and said "gee i shoulda done that" because i just do it

You sound like you don't have any reason to be feeling sorry for yourself. Dude, there will be other girls. Don't let your happiness be dependant on some girl, that's just setting yourself up for feeling sh***y. Jk, that's not always true, but sometimes you just gotta move on and save yourself some grief. Anyways, it's easier to feel depressed during this time of year, called seasonal depression. Just shake it off and think about all the POSITIVE aspects of your life. Chances are that you got more going for you than not.

The girl sees you as a friend, you want more than that, she doesn't, your ego is bruised, sounds like you got your life on the right track, don't let this de-rail you, at the same time take care of yourself and cut her off, if you feel bad now think about how it will feel to see her banging a guy who isn't half of what you are, simply because he didn't make the mistake of falling into the friend zone, cut your losses, move on to the next girl, otherwise, your life will become as bad as the punctuation in this post.

Its barely been two months to the year man!
A) Theres no need to have to do something big and great every second of your life.
B)You dont have to be 110 percent all the time.
C)If you dont like what your doing, do something different.
D) its that time of year, people are feeling down, stand up straight and go on with your day. Dont mope about it
