Default Just put my $5 deposit down on GT 4!

I hope I'm not disappointed with Gran Turismo 4 considering the long wait and countless delays. I have been eagerly awaiting this moment (I'm sure many of you as well). Hey and for all who's interested, Toys R Us (Paramus NJ) is having a deal where you put the deposit down ($5) and you can purchase a steering wheel with pedals (included) for $9.99, sounds like a good deal And if it sucks you can always ebay it!

The thing that always pisses me off about those steering wheels is... no clutch!

I am sad to say this, but, I doubt the majority of GT3/GT4 don't know how to drive manual. The complexity of the clutch pedal would make things 5x more complicated. Just my $.03

No one will be disappointed by GT4. I have been playing it for more than a month.

It is also a lot harder to drift in this game compared to GT3.

The only bummer is no access to your garage (customized) cars in Arcade mode.

I'm not sure what kind of difference(Tracks & cars) the USDM game will differ from my C(Chinese)DM one.

i've have had my money down on gt4 at toys r us since october. I think they should give me that offer with the steering wheel for showing up twice to find out they wouldn't have it for a while. Had i known that i would have preordered it this week, not 4 months ago. Anyone know how to go about getting them to make right on it?

You do know that video games have many features that can be turned off and on?

I have always wanted a clutch in the Gran Turismo series. For a "real driving simulator" the hardcore gamer should be able to use a clutch. Even with the controller and not a steering wheel and pedals this is possible since the buttons on the PS2 controller are pressure sensitive.

My $1.99

super street did an interview with the head guy of the series a while ago, and he said that he wanted a clutch, but the details needed to make a realistic clutch pedal on a wheel would be too difficult and expnesive to bring to market...
