Default Door Ding at Science World

A dark grey MDX pulled in close to me at scienceworld and gave me a big dig in the door when I was away. I know the stall number and time... wondering if I can call impark and get their name, if they used a credit card in the machine. They didn't leave a note... nada...but they left a big door ding in the passenger rear door. I am very pissed off. Some people have no consideration! Might be able to get the body shop to take care of it... then there is ICBC, but thats a $300 deducatable. Those people had a ****load of children... I should have known better to park near those fawking anklebiters.

ouch -- subaru doors dent quite easily
How "deep" is the dent -- and is the paint damaged?

If the paint is not damaged -- just try paintless dent removal. I got some dents removed that way and it truly looks like the dent was never there. Some paintless dent removal places are mobile and can come to you as well.

Good Luck!

That sucks, but it happens. I try to be as careful as I can and I still get them.

Wait till you get a few more, then spring for some paintless dent removal. Those guys can work magic, seriously.

BTW, I tried to reply to your pm a while back but your box was full.

quest... sorry about that hapenning.
My apologies to Rosso... I cleaned out the PM box now.
Unfortunately... there is minor paint damage, the dent is near the rear window. I was thinking... perhaps impark could get me the name of the lady who dinged my car. She may have used a credit card in the machine... I know the stall number and the exact time she used the meter. Any chance?

thanks dude!

i was pissed when it happened, but got over it surprisingly quickly. It shouldn't cost too much to fix, and i seem to be mellowing out the longer i have the car...when i first got it i obsessed over every scratch and spec of dust.

good luck getting the lady's info. I doubt impark will give you the info, but if they have it they would have to give it to the police.

go to ICBC. You can always not go through with teh claim after they look at it and give an estimate.
