Default New Clutch..New engine...New Transmission!

Ok my friend is almost got his RX-7 complete (drag!!! car) well hes a very good friend of mine and most the money he gets off that car racing he going to give to me...(im helping him build it so he feels this is right). Well im going to buy a STi engine to put in my WRX and the 6 speed transmission...but thats much later in the year..BUT I have the money for a new clutch NOW.. And I need a new one NOW. So what should I do? So I buy a clutch for my WRX now and then have to buy one for the STi or what? My engine is pushing about 310 whp and I really would like a clutch i can put on both the engines when I get it. So what clutch should I get? Anyone post their opinion I really need all of yalls help on this one! Thanks!

5speeds use a different clutch than a 6speed

Dont know what to tell you. Maybe go with the tranny first so that you dont blow up yours with the STI engine.

Actually you can use a 5 speed clutch in a 6 speed, it bolts right up. Vice-versa if you do a little grinding of the bellhousing.
