Default Ongoing mileage problem

Ive been getting bad gas mileage for a while now, since around august, and it isnt the usual dip i get in the winter. it has gone down from 25 to 21mpg. i changed spark plugs a month ago and mileage was back to normal for one tank and then returned to ****ty. i have changed oil, fuel filter, plugz, air filter, is there anything else i can do? i have 55k miles on the car, 02 wrx, no mods, mostly highway commuting.

This may sound strange, but check to see if any of your calipers are not 100% releasing the pads. I talked to someone who noticed a drop in milage and traced it to one of his front calipers being shot. FWIW...
