Made by S&W Race Cars these kits are built to NHRA spec for cars running under 11.99.

These are weld in kits that feature pre bent tube and notched tube ends.

The kits inlcude everthing needed for installation except a good welder.

I need three kits or more to order.

These kits are made from ERW, DOM or Chromoly style tube.

8 point Roll Bar kits $164.95 for ERW steel. Same kit but with DOM or Chromoly is $339.95.



10 point Roll Cage Kits $242.95 in ERW Steel. Same kit but made from DOM or Chromoly $439.95


10 point cage kit can run through the dash or in front of the dash.

Also S&W only lists a kit for the 2 door Imprezas(GC). I'm thinking that it will work for a 4 door as well but we need to specify longer rear down tubes(no extra charge). This should also work for a wagon as well.

Shipping is by truck from PA and will cost from $50 to about $130 max depending on the kit you want and your location relative to PA.

Yes you can pick this up in PA at S&W Race Cars @ 11 Mennonite Church Rd. Spring City, PA 19475.

Just pay us for the kit and we'll arrange the pick up time/day for you.

As for the PayPal question, we only take Visa/MC with payments done through our Verisign secure server. Or you can send out a nice money order. Sorry, no PayPal.

Okay so I just added the pricing for Chromoly and DOM style tube to the first post. I was getting more interest in those than I had thought.


Also, is anyone in the PA area that would want to have S&W build a kit for the GD Imprezas? They would need your car for a short stay but then eveyone else could get a S&W kit as well for the GD. Just a thought.

Not really into metal, so I have to ask, what is the difference in ERW steel, DOM and Chromoly? I am thinking about one, but waiting to hear back from you on my PM I sent last night. If you didn't get it I wanted to know about the use in rallying for this kind of cage.

Good question!

ERW = Electronically Rolled and Welded. This type of steel has a seem down it's entire length. It's legal for any drag racing application but that's about it. Perfectly acceptable for any street car application as well.

DOM = Drawn Over Mandrel. This is a seamless tubeing as is the general standard type of steel tube for almost any race sanctioning body in North America including rally.

Chromoly = This is a lightwieght seemless type of steel with very stiff properties. Legal for drag racing and some other sanctioning bodies but you must check the rules for your class. Chromoly is also available for some FIA certificated kits and as such would be legal for rally in the US but these kit in this GB are not FIA certificated.


As for these kits being legal for rally racing in the USA? Yes if you buy the DOM kit and add a couple of optional tubes then this kit would be legal for either Rally-America rules ot NASA Rally Sport rules. Those extra tubes would add about $50 to the cost of the kit.

The basic kits in this GB are built to NHRA specs but we have the options available to make the kits legal for any racing in North America.
