Default Are piston oil squirters neccessary ?

If running forged pistons is it still advisable to run the piston oil squirters. Currently doing a ej20g build and I was going to plug them to ensure full pressure for the bearings.

Opinions ??????

They are there to help cool the piston. If you do a thermal barrier coat on the piston surface, they are not needed. If you coat the piston surface, and the CC of the head, you have much less detonation.
