Default What type and size of spark plugs?

Just got a used '03 WRX w/ 65k km on it. Did oil all changes w/ syn.
Planning on doing some modds and shooting for 275-300hp. need to know what type of spark plug would be best and what the gap would be best set at. i herd something tike .30 gap or smaller. i herd that .28 gap would be best. Should it be colder spark plug or not. if so, how much?
