Default Two questions on 04 side skirts

ok so i jus took off my stock sideskirts or whatever u want to call them to have my uncle paint them next week.
1. there are holes where the skirt goes into the car on the side with those open is there any problem driving around with it like that

2. on the passenger side there is a dent at the bottom towards the front i noticed that was hidden by the side skirt is this suppose to be this way or is there something i don't know about

no this wont be a problem - just be sure to clean them out before reinstalling the side skirts

2. on the passenger side there is a dent at the bottom towards the front i noticed that was hidden by the side skirt is this suppose to be this way or is there something i don't know about

i'd have to see the 'dent' to be sure. could be damage from jacking the car up or from catching something underneath. it's nothing to worry about though and your side skirts should hide it nicely once reinstalled.

good luck w/the paint job

yeah but even then,
that part of the car is very soft material and can bend easily.
I wouldnt worry too much about it tho..
the side skirts will hide it well.

good luck duuuuuuuuuude

That dent with the flaking paint and rust is *not* supposed to be there. Someone hit something, quite possibly a tall curb or the like. From that angle it looks like it pushed in pretty far.

I would clean up the area and make sure the metal is protected, then put the skirt back on and try to avoid hitting things.

sand it really good..
primer it with rust protective primer and/or paint before you reinstall your side skirt

That dent is definitely not suppose to be there, when I painted my side skirts, it was just dirty under the side skirt since I have a white car. Beside the dirt, there is nothing much in between the skirt and the car. Those holes on the car wouldn't worry too much because you are not painting the side skirts for a year or something.
