Exclamation Inception scams and instructions (mods please sticky)

It seems that Inception has scammed quite a few people on NASIOC including me. I am compiling a combined thread for all of his "products" to ensure to everyone gets a chance to come forward if they, too, feel they have been a victim now or in the recent past not a part of this post. I feel this is the case because I did receive many emails and some phone calls from other members regarding Inception. If you have sent money to Inception, feel you have been scammed, and feel comfortable to come forward, please post a link and details (method paid and result if reversal or dispute was made) of your transaction so we can see this in one thread. If you feel uncomfortable about posting under your screen name due to a transaction conducted via PM's, please EMAIL me through the forum link (<-- clicky) so I can post the generals leaving your SN out.

INCEPTIONS INFORMATION:
Josh Kellum
7449 Robinson Drive
Denham Springs,LA 70726
inceptionmotorsports@yahoo.com (paypal and contact address)

225-667-5362 (phone number disconnected the week of 2/27/05)
If you a different address, please post here.

EDIT 3/1/05:
Several forum members have told me theyhave been scammed last year by a John Kellum who went by the SN "Ravenous." His information is:
John Kellum
P.O. Box 2501
Columbus Ms 39704

I dont know if its the same member but I have forwarded this information the detective.

P.S. Please email me with information -my PM box is full of inception's PMs which I must save. Thanks so much

EDIT 3/1/05:
reverse phone lookup revealed this information-
Kellum, K K & J
1978 Longwood Dr
Baton Rouge, LA 70808-1247

LAW ENFORCEMENT INFORMATION:

1) Call Detective Calvin Bowden at the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Department
(225) 686-2241 and tell him its regarding an internet sale with Josh Kellum
2) Call Middle District FBI office, speak with Agent Evans (504) 816-3000 and tell him its regarding Josh Kellum.

REPORT FRAUD TO THE USPS:

1) if you have paid by USPS money order, please keep your receipts and follow these steps: -->report fraud to USPS<-- (click) or simply call (800)372-8347

PROGRESS as of 2/27/05

According to Detective Bowden, there is a protocol that must be followed to place our aggregate claims on the priority list. I know your first instinct is to call the Attorney General's office but the report must be filed with the Sheriff first who then forwards the information to the AG with his recommendation. Currently, matters related Inception's sales on NASIOC is a "high priority" with the AG"s high tech crime unit in place but protocol must be followed to gain access to this list.

PROGRESS AS OF 3/3/05:
Our cases have been forwarded to the Attorney General who can be reached at (225)326-6100 - Mr. Terry Alario. I spoke with him and the case is going forward. All of you that has paid money to Kellum and not received a product, please call him.

PROGRESS AS OF 3/15/05:
I spoke with Mr. Alario today. He told me that even though some of you are reluctant to report theft if you have been credited by your CC company or paypal, the matter still remains a crime and is still reportable as a theft on the CC company. If you feel you still want to help the rest of us, please call him.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) do NOT delete any of your PMs with Inception
2) keep all emails from Inception or
3) Keep all receipts of Money orders, bank transactions, paypal transactions (print them out)
4) (I know its a pain but...) keep or start making a detailed log of events relating to you and inception including all other screen names he used, emails, phone numbers, times and dates, promises, etc. Give law enforcement a succinct story theu can follow and verify through your paperwork.
The sheriff will ask you to fax him copies of everything.

Damn Ronf, soggy, 1688 and all the others who were screwed over because of this guy. I am so sorry because there are few things in the world that incite violence than taking something from someone that is not yours, like your hard earned cash.

Ya, I did. I think they told me that it would take 15 days (?) to review the case and may take 30 days to resolve it.
