True... but that can be done any day. D1 cannot. Either way, after a few rounds I really wanted to be out driving on my own... Sounds like you all had a great time.

Its is about 100 miles east of Bakersfield. You take the 395, a small route right before Victorville and about 120 miles out you hit a small town called Ridgecrest. I heard they filmed the disney movie Holes out there.

From special stages:

"Ramada Express 2004 Video -- Looks Great!"

Last night after the Ridgecrest Rally School (70 or 80 outstanding students, methinks), Ray showed the Green Light video production of the 2004 Ramada Express International Rally.

It was just what we've come to expect from great coverage: a nice blend of action shots, in-car shots, and talking heads; a nice blend of class leaders, overall leaders, and others; enough establishing shots to give you a sense of the event, but not so many that you feel cheated out of real action; and Chris & Chrissie's dramatic Stage 1 climax.

I understand they have one more minor edit cycle to complete before it'll be available but from what I've seen so far, everyone will want this in their personal video collection.

Rally on!

John

Whoa, what was the deal with the Honda Element in SS 4WD turning in times almost as fast as Travis in Rally 4WD? That guy is mad-fast.

I'm converting to AWD. After driving an RS again, and with the WRX nonsense almost behind me, i'm rarin to get a rally prepped RS going. Can anyone say Prodrive prepped GC8??

My car is lower than stock height w/ 17" rims. I still run hard...or at least try to. Haven't broken anything yet. You have to keep your tires pumped up, or you'll roll a bead. Subarus were meant to be driven hard. If you're not driving it hard, you aren't really using it.
