Cool Plans for the new car. Need part #'s for STi headlamps and...

also, the bulbs and relay's. I was curious if anyone had found them online so I can confirm with the dealer today.

Just a mini update on the whole car thing (and I do apologize for making multiple threads). The car ended up being totalled. The estimated damage to the car was: $11,600 bucks. Front axel was toast and the rear one was starting to pull from the frame. The sub-frame was twisted in two different spots and of course everything suspension wise had to be replaced. So they went ahead and totalled the car.

Fast forward to today....
I'm heading down to Wentworth to take a look at my new soon to be (again, *sigh*) subbie 2.5RS Wagon. Same color, fog lights, security system, armrest and floor mats. All for a cool $500 bucks MORE than the old one (old... yeah like 3 weeks old now).

So I decided (and convinced) my fiance to get the STi headlamps w/ the Xenon's put in before we take delivery of the car. Hopefully I can get the parts ordered and installed before this friday, but who knows.

Anyways, any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Part numbers for 2004 STi HID headlight assemblies (complete with bulbs & ballasts):

84001FE500

84001FE510

I don't know the part numbers for the 2005 HID lights, sorry.

Take the money you would have spent on those headlights and go to a driving school.

Buy the STI headlights used... much better than $700 per side from the dealer.

Don't take anything here on NASIOC too personally. A lot of people will give you a lot of advice here - some good, some bad. I think all faast was trying to say is that there are many ways to spend $1200, and a driving school would certainly reward you with better driving skills. The HID headlights won't make you a better driver, but they are a great improvement over the stock lights.
