Intesting how much they know about cars, but how little they know about helicopters and target aquisition.

All in the name of sensationalism.

Nice video.

Going to assume this is the topgear episode were they race an apache aorund a track hoping the apache can get target lock?

if so, great flick, i love the end were he is driving around and says somehting like
"now that is how we did, this is how THEY do it"
apache rises over some trees over a mile away gets missle lock in like half a second haha was funnay~

but WTLY none the less my friend

Is it me, or did they stop making helicopters that can hover in just one place?

1) Hover right in the middle of the track/airfield
2) Watch numbnuts host drive around trying to look cool for the cameras
3) Roll your eyes knowing that said numbnuts would have lasted all of five seconds if this were 'real'
4) Remind yourself to never volunteer for P.R. duty ever again
5) ?????
6) Profit!

I remember that video, and the rebuttal from the RAF. Something like we would never be that close to try missle lock. If by some freak occurance they did get that close, they would have switched to the nose gun and torn the car in half. Basically its complete BS.

i think we can all agree the easiest way to kill an exige would involve an apache. just watch the video and appriecate the "cornering like a house fly."
