Default this weekend will be the last of the snow

or so I hope. My baby seriously needs some TLC, clay bar, cleaner wax, polish, and 3 coats of buttery smooth wax. I can't wait to see how many chips I got in the paint from the stupid salt on the ground spitting up at my car. Do you guys think an undercarriage wash is neccessary and if so...where in the 5 boroughs can I find a place to do it?

I agree. This better be the last of it! I'm so tired of shoveling out my car and not being able to wash it! Breaks my heart to she her all covered in salt and ice! Sniff...sniff.

Put on slickers, crawl under car, and spray with hose j/k

Normally, I just hose out the wheel wells, then starting at the rear, crouch so I can see under the car and start spraying off everything inderneath (make sure car is cold). Work my way around the car, crouching the whole way, til the water thats dripping doesn't look dirty anymore.

I am sure I am not getting all the filth, but enough of so that the next time I am working under the car I won['t have dirt clumps falling in my face.

Disclaimer: your not doing it right unless your back hurts when your done.

And by "put my summers back on", you mean "Stop driving the Volvo's".
