All U.S. passenger cars will have tire pressure monitoring systems beginning with the 2006 model year according to a new safety rule by NHTSA that requires a system to detect a tire 25% under recommended pressure. Phase-in begins 9/1/05, and all vehicles under 10,000 pounds must be equipped with it by the 2008 my. "

You flamed the entire forum when you made your post. You won't get all this crap in your threads if you don't start out by unsulting everyone who reads it.

That said.. thanks for the link. Interesting stuff. I'm really curious to find out how the parts shown control cam timing from the rear of the engine. I suppose the AVCS device is still on the front of the engine and is controled via a shaft that goes through the hollow exhaust cam?

I am sure this has been posted before, but I am not going to search through 32 pages of postings... BUT, accord to the Car Connection website, they are guessing that "The Impreza will likely get a new name, while the WRX may switch to a hatchback bodystyle."

The hatchback I can see, espesially since it will probably share it's platform with a Saab (but I think it should be offered as an option, and not the only body style), but dropping Impreza would be one hell of a dumb move in my book.
