Is that the 6 puck or 4 puck?

at stage 3 the clutch bites into the gears quicker at the cost of more shock load to your tranny. only thing you can really do is adjust your shifting technique to prevent excess abuse.

The ACT street clutch is all you need for that type of power level. The 4 and 6 puck clutches should not even be considered. If more clutch is needed, look to the twin disk units

mmhmm.....twin disk clutch...very sexy

btw, can anyone tell me the purpose of a three-disk clutch? from what i hear most high-performance vehicles only use twin-disk, so what is the purpose for a three-disk one when everybody uses two-disk?

Increased torque holding ability, and even smoother to drive than a twin. The downside is now there are 3 disks instead of 2, so when the clutch is disengaged, there is some increased noise vs the twins

well if i were building a racecar i don't think the noise factor would be very important to me.

odd...i had always heard that twin-disks were superior to three. *shrugs*
