These are pretty well beaten up. I would think that you could get more for them if you refurbished them. I'd make an offer but I'm sure it would fall into your unreasonable pile

That is why they would make great track wheels. You dont have to worry about them.

250 per wheel plus actual shipping to your location and you have yourself a deal. These only weigh 14 lbs each so they are not that heavy

Are you sure about that?

I have a set of bronze TE-37s and one has some damage, I have been told by a reputable wheel repair shop (Tru Wheel) that since the lip is anodized that it is cosmetically unrepairable. I suppose this wouldn't apply if the CE-28 isn't anodized, but since I'm waiting on a new wheel from Volks since mine is unrepairable I just wanted to throw this out there.

We spoke to two different wheel repair vendors and both said it was possible, but I am not an expert. Hey matt, do you know whether the anodized lip on your wheel is the same as the polished lip on this wheel? I do not know whether volk actually made two different lip styles or whether we are referring to the same lip style.

Well mine are bronze, and that might have something to do with it. When I called Tru Wheel and told them I had a bronze wheel that needed lip repair the first question they asked was, "are they Volks?" When I said "yes" they told me that because it's anodized they wouldn't be able to make it look the same

It's quite possible that since yours are silver that they have a polished lip and can be repaired, I just wanted to throw it out there for people to research if they are truly interested in buying, and cosmetically repairing, these wheels.

I will call the official US importer and see if they can answer this. Its good information to just know even if the purchased wants to use them as their track wheels. If these have not sold by the next track day, I may keep them and sell my Volk LEs.

Matt-
The CE28 in bronze is an anodized finish. The LE28 if it has a painted center, like gunmetal or gold, is a diamond cut rim with a clear coating.

Once a wheel's lip has been anodized, it cannot be reanodized but can be repainted.
