Default Will S-Afc work in my 02 2.5rs???

just as the title states, lots of people say yes and many say no, which is it?

you wont see much of a gain. maybe some smoothness. Then again i never had it professionally tuned. i was using the blue wire mod. Ecu resets are necessary. I have one for sale if you want it!

That is what I have heard. The car will become smoother throughout the band, but the stupid ECU learns around the S-AFC and you need to reset the computer often for it to work.

So it sounds like from what people say there is no use for it and more trouble then its worth

Word of mouth says that the AFC is somewhat beneficial. A member in his 01 RS installed a SAFC and claimed to have felt that the ecu learned around it slightly, but when he uninstalled the controller, he could feel the difference of lost power.

Just regurgitating others' experiences.

I've got one installed. I set the fuel curve so it's affected above 85% throttle where the ECU doesn't learn because it reverts back to a open loop at full throttle.

Yes, I can feel a difference. As far as real gains, I dunno.
