What's the difference between "L'Enfant" and "Le Enfant"???

Thanks in advance.

I think L'Enfant is indeterminate sex (you don't know if it's a boy or girl), Le Enfant is a male baby. My only practical experience with French was a French Grandmother, so I could be wrong...

Alas, you are. I was just too lazy to type more before.

In French, when the article ends and the noun begins with the same vowel (e, in this case), you can drop the article's vowel and replace it with an apostrophe.
