Default Skinny guys w/ aftermarket seats, what are you using?

I finally figured out why my whole body tenses up when I take turns a bit fast. I'm holding on to my steering wheel to stay in my seat. The stock OBS seat is not cutting it anymore. I have a 32" waist and was considering the sparco torino. After doing some searching here, I found that they seat up to 38" waist and I'm worried that they may be loose for me. So what are you skinnier folks using? Tks!

I have Sparco Monza's...and 30" waist. You should check the specs at Sparco's website. After having these seats a few months, I think the whole aftermarket seat thing is a little overrated. If I had to do it over again, I think I would've gone with Recaro's. I love the backrest and shoulder support, but the thigh support is almost too tight. I've managed to get used to over time.

I'm not skinny, but I've sat in a fair number of different seats. So here's some thoughts one ones that stick out in my memory (I tend to remember the ones that fit me better, though).

I have JDM Version 7 STI seats in my car right now. They're a bit tight for me. They're built for asian size people. You'd probably absolutely love them.

Sparco Torino doesn't have much in the way of thigh bolstering, but it's reasonably snug in the kidney area. But, possibly not agressive enough.

Recaro Speed would be worth looking into. I feel it fits me well, if a bit on the tight side in the bum, but the way the thigh bolsters are shaped, I think it could hold a smaller person well. However, you may find that the back/kidneys don't hold you tight enough, but hard to say for sure. Worth checking out.

Sparco Monzas seem pretty nice, but not very agressive. If you want something that'll hold you in, I'd look elsewhere.

You might also look into race buckets. The Sparco Roadster in particular being a street-oriented bucket could suit you well. I feel that I sit "on" it instead of "in" it, but a smaller person would probably do well. Since you're small, getting in/out of a race bucket would be much easier than for someone my size.

Most importantly, though, find a local store that has a lot of seats, and go check them out. There's got to be somewhere in/near Sacramento with a good selection.

Thanks for the replies, not sure if I want to go rigid full buckets, but if they make'em comfortable enough, I would give it a shot. I'll keep my eye's open for the JDM v7 seats, will they fit the mounts on my 2k4 outback? Need to get something w/ the least bling, unfortunately I have to park outside, and there have been a few cases of auto break-in's recently. The only places where I've seen aftermarket seats in the area is Tognottis (APC garbarge) and motorsports dynamics. Unfortunately, MD only have a couple of seats available for sitting at one time. again, thanks!

Oh, didn't realize you have an outback. The seats would probably bolt in, but they're blue/black, so they'd look quite blingy / horrible.

5'9'' 130, 30 waist, I have sparco torinos they are very comfortable, I can still move around a bit though.

I had ver5 seats and they murdered my back with the lumbar and I moved around alot, I always found myself leaning on one of the bolsters.
