OBD issues wrx motor in 93L with standalone EMS?

Would I have to worry about any ODB issues if I swap an 02 wrx motor into a 93 L chassis with a TEC-II standalone EMS to run it?

And would I be able to use my 93 L ECU to run other stuff the TEC-II won't handle or would I have to get a wrx ecu and harness?

i have that setup cept an older jdm motor
the tec 2 won't control the idle and neither will the 93 ecu
other wise just fine

a tec3 would me much much better

that said get a factory ecu and harness

IMHO its much much better to get a stock ecu and pay someone to do the wireing than to buy the tec

then you can use all the great ecu products for the wrx

Jaxx... how is the idle controled in your car then?...I ask cause I am about to do the same set up in my race car
