Default Anybody using the Lachute header?

Lachute Subaru has a really nice looking header for the 2.5 on their site. The page is a little old, it says it's in development, and should be available June of '04, Nice looking piece, nice long primaries, says guaranteed no CEL. The price is WAY high, but I suspect it's in Canadian, so it should be comparable to Cobb, or TWE in price. Anybody got one? How do you like it?

Default some googling....

A quick bit of digging on google gave a discussion or two on wrxforum com

which has some earlier musings about the header. No 1st hand reports, mind you.
Website: lachuteperformance com

and because I'm waiting on compute cycles, I sent them a little email asking for someone to pop over to the forum and answer some questions. No guarantee they'll respond, but can't hurt.

side note: can't post urls w/o 10 post here? Fair enough. So much for trying to be helpful. Peice those urls yourself.

Sorry, when I was N/A I went with the Borla because I am a ricer. I love the boxer sound.
Just for visual sake..and the websites show where I got them for reference.

Default Lachute parts

I just spoke with Julien at Lachute who says in addition to the headers they'll have the complete exhaust system as well as lots of other parts their fabricater Yannick is making. The quality is great, I've seen a lot of their parts up close.

That pic you have of a "TWE" does not look like any of the TWE headers I've seen in the past.
Thanks everyone for your help, maybe we can get them to chime in and tell us a little more about it.

Did the headers looks like they had mandrel or crush bends when you saw them? Also, does 'they'll have' imply non existence in the 'right now' ?

deuce.five - The TWE header you see there is in FULL stainless. I was lucky enough to see this in person. They are VERY nice.

It wasn't the material that looked wrong, he changed the picture since it was first posted, the first header was different.

what would you guys recommend for a person running a turbo setup on a 1998 RS with EJ20 swap and still using the stock header? I was thinking of going full custom on the header but is there a good free flowing one that is worth the $$$. What are the prices on these aftermarket headers posted above?
