Default BBQ Event + FREE Road Dyno Day!

Hey guys,

This is going to be a get together in Davis. We'll have lots of BBQ and/or Pizza, lots of grass to hang out on, music, frisbees, etc.

Best of all, throughout the day, I'll be taking each driver/car to do Road Dyno pulls on "my own personal Davis Road Dyno" (miles of flat, empty, straight roads between all the farmland out here). I'll also offer logging runs including wideband a/f data to anyone interested. I'll be using an Inovate LM1 wideband with the sensor installed in either an easily accesible bung in the downpipe or in the tailpipe using Inovate's special tailpipe clamp. This will all be FREE of charge as I'm mainly interested in collecting a nice database of road dyno graphs and numbers for all the various setups you guys have and setting up a fun event for everyone to hang out and get to know eachother.

There will be prizes awarded for the highest and lowest HP cars

The event will be held on Sunday, April 24th. We'll start at 11AM with no set end time. Location will depend on how many people are interested. I was originally planning on having it at my vast appartment complex where we have lots of grassy space with bbqs and plenty of parking, but if there is overwhelming interest, I'll move it to a public park near by that will be able to support a lot more participants. So please respond here if you're interested in comming, and spread the word to your friends!

Currently Expecting: 12 cars.

Thanks
-- Ed

good to see that there's atleast some interest in this. If it turns out to be on the small side, I'll have it at the apartment complex here and we can have rallisport 2 tournaments going on at the same time . Maybe even GT4 by that time.

I mean I beat the times you set since you were here last .

The game IS amazing and it would be a lot of fun to have a tournament. Would be even better to line up another TV and another xbox... then we can play linked games

I was wondering if someone was going to ask about that. Honestly, I haven't decided on the prizes yet... but I was thinking about a bag of rice for the lowest hp car
