could be the bearing.. or it could be the less costly brake dust cover rubbing against the rotor. All you need to do there is take the rotor off and give the cover a rap with a mallet onto a crowbar on the lower part a few times.

hey allsubaru83 ... do you know where the wheels where rubbing at on your car because this sound did show up a day or two after i put the new rims on... rubbing was my first thought but i couldn't find sign of it rubbing... maybe i'll jack it up and put the old rims back on and take it for a quick run around town see what happens... but if you got that same sound i'll concider that possibility again .... thanks ...

If you are rubbing, then it's on the very edge of the fender well. There is a little black strip of rubber linning on the lip of the feder well. Try removing that strip and see if the problem goes away. The strip just pulls off. Should only take you a min to do both sides. If you think you are still rubbing go buy some white shoe polish and put some around the the edge of the fender well. Go out driving and take some fast turns. When you get home see if there is any shoe polish on the tire. If not then you should be okay. If you are still rubbing then you will have to roll your fenders to fix the problem.
