That's the downside to such as large hot side. Get the Element Accy Wiring Harness which will allow you to flat-foot shift so you won't loose boost between shifts.

Thanks,
Phil

This is a common problem with port work and or cams. You need to increase your "cranking enrichment" in the higher coolant areas. It's not uncommon for me to have to go all the way to 25 on this type of setup.

Thanks,
Phil

hi to everyone

have following problem and i would apreciate some tips

my ISC when car is warm can be stable for 30 seconds at 1200 (target) and -500mmHg with 14.6 afr but after that it start droping up to -360mmHg and 17 or 18 Afr and 1000rpm and then comes back again to the desired values

i have tried to fix it with main fuel map by addding fuel ,also by changing settings, and by increasing ISC integrator with no success

i run the car in closed loop and auto tune with target Afr map above 2400rpm

i have Isc settings at P=35 I=55 D=22 min PWM=20 max PWM=88

its is an EU (ex )-forester xt with MD turbo with a 2.35L engine and
Forester heads with 264 cams

i have an NTK on board wideband for Hydra and an additional Zeitronix (Bosh sensor) with screen

Oscilation on Zeitronix is bigger but by listening to the engine it also more precise

Both sensors are placed on down pipe 25 cm from turbo

tks
chris

I'd start by figuring out what is causing your vacuum to temporarily change 140mmHg. That's not normal.

Regardless, 17-18 AFR is... 17-18 AFR. When you tune 1000RPM @ 360mmHg for 14.5:1 instead of 17-18, the problem does not get any better?

Tks your response

I noticed that my voltage reading in Nemesis durring ride is quite low 10,3 - 10,7 V
Battery is 11,5V but after 10 minutes ride produced Voltage is comming down

i have partly resolved my ISC problems by increasing my injector responce values (i have PE 800cc)
This way my Isc is stable but about 100 rpm higher than target

does anyone knows how this can affect safety of the engine in long term or high loads?

If I had to guess, I would say your alternator is dying. Your car is never going to run properly, especially at high RPMs, with a Nemesis and voltages less than 13.0 at idle.

That's the X,Y position in the map that the current data is being read from.

For example, 18psi at 5000RPM might be cell 23,23. That's 23 cells in the map to the right and 23 down.

Hey Phil, I have a 2005 Wagon that Tim Bailey and I have been working on. I have a built STI long block, GT35R, Hydra 2.5, Hydramist, and other goodies. We just got the car running last night, and Tim flew out this morning. I didn't get an installation CD for the Nemesis software with the Hydra that we purchased from you, so I need to download it. I checked the hydraems.com site, and there are files listed for download, but are all in an "XLS" format. Can you point me the right direction so that I can begin autotuning the car? Thanks in advance.

6 months later ...

I don't think 95% of Hydra users got along well with "Decel Fuel Cut", so Fuel Cut Limit (map) is irrelevant to most.

does anyone have a stock 2.5 hydra map for a 06 sti? I bought a used hydra and want to check some values for injectors and dwell on a map on got from my tuner, as my setup now is built block but stock everything else and the map was originally for a 35r with 1000cc injectors. The injectors are scaled down but I don't know if everything else is, as the car wont start with the hydra, but will start with the stock ecu.

For some reason it took me a 15 minutes to dig up a copy of the 2.6 manual. Here's a link in case anybody else is looking for it:
