Default Anyone else have problems with carparts.com

Everything I remember reading was positive. Of course, until I made my order. Just a simple boost gauge and pod, listed in stock and "ships within 2 days". Now, after a few calls and long hold times, I was told it will ship out of St. Louis, but no date when it will actually ship. This order was placed on the 15th. I was told there is no way they could even get it to me next weekend. I did save a few bucks, but it may not be worth it in the long run. Just thought you should know this and maybe call them before ordering to insure actual status. Good luck.

ps- People seem to have good luck with summit racing, maybe I will go there next.

Well, when I tried ordering an EGT gauge from them the ship date was 4 weeks out, so I went to www.overboost.com - paid a little more, but I got it in a couple of days. Also www.summitracing.com is good with both supply and price.

Great prices... questionable service. It's sort of hit or miss. I happened to hit. I ordered Rallye 4000s (two, a wiring harness, set of 130w bulbs, and clear stone shields). They sent the two lights, wiring harness, bulbs, and one white/black Hella stone shield. Each lamp came with one of those, so I ended up with three. I emailed them about it. "Wrong one, and only one" they said to send THEM back. I said there was only one, and where? They sent me two clear ones and I haven't heard from them since. >shrug< So I've got an extra white/black cover.

Well, it took awhile, but my A/F gauge did come in- it shipped 4 days after I ordered it because it apparently had to be "found" in one of their warehouses. I was in no rush, and coupons kick ass . I usually order from Summit, which is where my EGT and the cups for the gauges came from.

I ordered some tires for my grandfather a while back... I got them for damn near cost and they emailed me the shipping time.

It does seem to be hit or miss, but the coupons they used to have made it worth rolling the dice.
