Wink Has Anyone Seen This Car...

I just raced a modified white Civic hatchback that I noticed as I was merging onto 170 - that is, until he started weaving in and out of the 3 lanes and being a road hazard. All of that weaving was well worth the risk, you see, because he ended up directly in front of me when 170 ended at 40/64!

I should probably describe the EXCELLENT mods this guy had! First, he had a massive tailpipe and LOUD exhaust - out of which spewed soot that covered that portion of his bumper. The gurgly backfiring sound that they made was SO cool. He also had some portion of his taillights that were clear, and the car was lowered. SWEEEEEET. To gain extra horsepower, he had a sticker across the rear that read "www.lightspeed-highper4mance.com", which adds, I'd say, at least 20hp. I'm sure that the body kit, when installed so it doesn't look like it fits correctly (as my aforementioned race buddy had done), adds an additional 10hp. WOW. Oh, I'd also hate to forget the flashing lights that I saw inside of his cockpit, or the gauges mounted to the driver's left, or the neat spoiler at the top of his hatchback. VERY slick, indeed!

I think I'm going to go out this instant and buy a Civic hatchback and do just what he did. I'm so envious!!!! WOW!!! NOISE = POWER!!!

at let me guess, if you both went on the 40 E exchange, you were just sitting on his rear bumper wishing he could take that illegally fun set of turns alot faster. although, maybe not too close, soot shows up on white

my favorite example of stl rice was at Ted Drewes over the summer. picture if you will, a white integra LS or GS, with a missing hubcab, an automatic tranny, and a HUGE double decker rear wing. its a good thing that it doesn't produce downforce or it would lift the drive wheels/steering wheels straight off the ground! oh, and con't forget the mugen sticker

There's also a compeletly riced out GS-R that goes to the auto-x's sometimes (amazing i know). its not fair to say he's slow because he DNFs most of the time. it might have something to do with the lightspeed sticker that covers half of his windsheild

My car is SILVERTHORN! Anti-soot Silverthorn! I hope you're confusing me with that other guy, Jewbaru...

A cop was actually blocking the 40E ramp because of some accident that happened on it, so I was forced to go into the middle lane and therefore into Promenade-land. I followed the Civic all the way back to Hanley where I decided it would be best to head back to my place via Clayton.

The riciest thing I see on a regular basis is a Geo Storm with a GIANT wing and a loud exhaust that my mom pointed out to me. It lives on my parents' street; I laugh whenever it drives by.

That GS-R.. what color is it? I think that may be the one that tried raced me the first day I had Subi! ^_^...

have you seen the Saturn that lives by me? Huge spoiler, yellow accents on a green car. It looks like ass. Then there was this riced up Prelude we got a pic of a few weeks ago. That was funny. Hey, when are we gonna have a jewish RS meeting again?

Why would anyone take a green car and add yellow accents? How.. guh.. where are the pictures?

Oy! That Jew meet is a good idea! We can be exclusive! All, what, 3 or 4 of us? WOO! You should start a new thread and set it up since the subject of this one doesn't really say much about that. I suggest that we go to some good Vietnamese or Korean place for dinner one night next week!

No, no, no! Zorak is WAY cooler than to have THAT car. Oh, and BTW, I like the idea of the jewish RS meet! Hmm.. perhaps it just shows that smart people choose this car. (hmm.. my mom's car is also a Scooby!)

I've seen that white ricer. Cut me off on 40 once and I had to let him have it. Be careful with those Lightspeed guys, 9 out of 10 can't drive for crap.

Hey Joel,

Maybe we could have the Jewbaru Club meet at Shermie's Deli. We could all order the Salami and Egg Sandwich...

Have a Nice Day?

I have no major objections to meeting up there, really, but I'd request that we do it in a week or so - I skidded into a curb today in the rain and really bent a wheel, wee! I hope that's all I damaged!

Cool

sorry about saying your car was white, Heb. i know its silverthorne, its just so is mine, but mine was so dirty when i made the post i was thinking silver was a shade of brown its clean now and i see the error of my ways. forgive me.

the integra i mention was white

and i don't know what you're talking about Joel. that probe is pretty fly

as far as the jew meet goes i'm all for it except this is midterm week (insert dramatic music) i be busy. i am going to the auto-x on sunday though out at gateway. maybe we could meet there.

oh, and if joel is going to become jeweZident, i think we need to make sure that he is Cohan.

and for those Goy out there who wish to convert and are wondering just how do you circumsise a scooby, its simple. you take a 8mm socket/wrench and take off the vent and scoop covers

i don't know. i had some fun in the rain today who says you can't get the tail to come around. i was halfway through a turn and decided to see what would happen if i mashed the gas well, AWD is no substiute for stupidity. maybe my car just felt that since it was so wet, it should try to propel itself like a fish

HAha that's wonderful! I had my front end slide out on Saturday and it bent the wheel, which rubbed against the ball joint... and both need to be replaced. I'm getting the ball joint ($30) and repair work, including alignment, done at Fusz. I ordered a replacement wheel from Sugar for $275 including shipping. So I guess the entire thing will be about $500. No sushi for a while!

Be careful out there...

Oh, does anyone know where I can go to get the old wheel straightened out? I want a full-size spare anyway, so why not use this wheel!
