I've only got two sets. one with snow tires, one with summer tires.

I wish I had at least two more sets, maybe three.

Studded tires for ice racing
R compounds for autox/track
Gravel tires for rallyx/TSD rallies.

I need 8 sets!
Well, that's for 4 cars... but it still takes a lot of garage space! Winter & summer for each. I've been lurking around here trying to figure out what to get for winter for my new Saabaru.

4 sets.

1 summer RE-92's I love how cheap I can get em now
1 winter Blizzak WS-50
1 Auto-x 245/35
1 Auto-x225/45 (just sold to appeasse my wife)

Just called the parents. My dad had a Porsche shop for a while. He has 9 sets of wheels right now. He keeps buying more and more off of ebay because the price is right. Not sure what he plans on doing with them. Apparently my mother hasn't complained enough yet.

"Do you think having 2 sets of wheels is a waste of money? "
Not when you get them this way.

I also have 2 sets, my stock bbs for the winter, since they are nearly indesrtructible, and torque ii's for summer and auto x. Gotta have 2 sets, and 3 would be awesome, if I had race rubber.
