Default question about swapping a 2.0 for a 2.0

heres the deal, im have a stock 02 wrx that i purchased from carmax (with a 3 year warrantly) and im starting college next fall. Im going to leave the engine stock until my warrantly runs out :

1: because i dont want to void my warranty

2. because of the fact that im entering college and with all of those shinanigens going on i dont want a car with too much money dumped into it

buy the time i start modding the engine the stock block will have around 80 - 90k miles on it. Ill be doing a turbo, fuel, ecu upgrade , etc (the usual)

now when an engine has this amout of miles on it, would it be a good idea to go with a cobb 2.0 block or something like that because of all of the wear that a 90k mile block has on it?

i guess what im asking is would such a high mileage block be able to take all of those new stresses or would it be safer just to upgrade before hand? thanks guys.

Save every spare penny you can over the next few years. Slowly build up an Axis stage 4 or 5 block with heads, a giant turbo, a tranny, etc. Graduate and install it.

Instead of actually building it, build it on paper while saving up for it. In case you actually need the $$$ for something besides a big paper weight.
