Question Is there a difference between stock RS and WRX shifter linkage?

Just like it says...Does anyone know? I have both, but currently have the RS on and would really like heavier bushings and a short throw shifter, but I recently remembered I have a WRX linkage that may or may not make a difference. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Wrong forum, but no. As long as you are talking about the same generation/body style (GC, GD) the shifters are the same.

actually, the wrx tranny will bolt right up, brackets will fit, linkage will fit, etc, regardless of GC GD designation. I've got an 04 wrx tranny and rear diff in my 99 RS.
