Default Streettuner, how do I save maps??yes I RTFM

Ok so got my streettuner set-up and logged some runs and made my changes in the VF34 base map and clicked on save map as realtime.......cannot save file. Ok save as base map........same thing.

I read the manual a million times and this still escapes me.

Any help from anyone would be great.

When I save a map life you descibed it pops right up with where to put the file and to type in a file name so I don't know what to tell you. Check the log file and call cobb.

Are you trying to save the maps to the ECU or to a file to use with the AccessPort?

WHen you make changes, they should be persistent on the ECU, kind of like a real time map. However, if you disconnect the battery, the ECU will revert back to the base map that you flashed on there. At that point, you'd either have to reload the map via the ST or the AP. Once you make a base map and flash it via the AP, then it's there for good.

Does that answer your question?

Where are you trying to save it to? It sounds like it's write protected. You're not trying to save to a CD, are you?
Or, if you're trying to save it over the base map you started with, it could be write protected. Choose a different name.
