Default Resonators

Considering a custom 2.25" catback. Muffler choice #1 is Borla, #2 is Magnaflow. What should I look for in a resonator? I've done the search and it seems glasspacks are bad. Many threads pointed to Magnaflow's SS models but I can't find any techinical info on them. Any help would be appreciated.
