Default 05 OB-XT and Yakima's Double Cross Towers

The 2000 Subaru round cross bar kit consists of Yakima round bars and the old style towers, which are called the "double cross". The double cross towers do not fit up that well to my 2005 Outback XT's roof rack. They seem to be suited for a roof rack rail with a trianglar section--my XT's roof rail has a square section, which means there are large air gaps between the rubber cladded areas on the tower and the roof rail. According to my local Subaru dealer, the part number for the 2000 round bar kit is the same as the 2005 kit used on my XT. Does anybody know if the new 2005 kit has adapters for the double cross towers or if they come with the new style tower called the "low rider"?
