It was no longer called the Interceptor in 1986 IIRC.

Less than the guy wants for it, but.. if he put new tires on it, and put a new battery in it, it's about flush. also here's another thread about the bike...

It had alot of improvements....all detailed in the linked article. It was called The Interceptor, though.

A row of mailboxes? Sorry, but it hit only one mailbox...flat-out obliterated it.

Looks just fine to me...

The mailbox you jackasses, not the bike. The bike was a pos.

What you don't see is that the mailbox is just sitting on the post, and was completly ripped from the ground. Nice work JJ.

That bike has not been cared for very well.

Been laid down, been left outside, and it has a dark spot under it

Good point. I wonder if that's an oil like from the bike.

I believe it was gas, from the breather. Fluids tend to leak when it ends up up side down.

I thought he was referring to what appears to be an oil spot on the pavement beneath the bike.

Although it appears to be oil, since I had driven the bike into those mailboxes, i'm pretty sure it was gas. It might have been coolant tho, because I lost quite a bit of that too.

It's awfully hard to go on a motorcycle ride when your bike doesn't have it's motor in the bike... smirk

When's that going back together again?

oh yeah, I forgot about how I layed that mailbox back on the post ever so gently. Damn, the wind could have knocked it back off after we left, for all we knew
