i have used Lucas Octane booster, a red bottle, got it from Kragen Auto Parts, and i notice a big difference, and this was before i got my AP. i had to put it in because i think i got a bad batch of gasoline, so tried the Lucas Octane booster and works great. I have tried 104 Octane Booster and NOS octane booster, i think the Lucas one works the best.

i have a spot that sells 100oct. but it is 7bucks a gal. i hate mixing all the time. they make me wait til the guy brings it out in a container then we manually fill it up, after that i would have to go to the pump and fill it up with 91. plus i hate driving to this specific station..it's 9 miles away. i rather have booster in the trunk ready to go at any station.

*i'll look into the lucas booster. thanks.

torco is all you need to know. 12-16 oz in a tank (roughly half a can) and the 93 octane map works great. If you buy the 5 gallon bucket of the stuff for $190 shipped, you'll get about 50 tanks worth of gas out of it, so it adds roughly $4 per tank of gas. Not too bad.

I've been using it for about 6 months now... not every tank, but every few tanks.

Toulene.

Its 114 octane and can be bought from any Sherman Williams store in 5 gallon drums. If you have a dock at work or know a friend with one, you can get 150 gallon drums which are cheaper.

Anyhow, two gallons of toulene = 94. 13*91 + 114 * 2 / 15.

Works really well.

I agree, toulene works great! Much better than any over the counter octane booster.

Or, the best option, if a station close to you sells 100 octane. I am lucky, I have two stations near by in Agoura Hills, Alliance and Unical 76 that sell it. Runs anywhere from $4.59-5.00 a gallon.
