Default URGENT: did I modify my injectors correctly?

So on the first one, I cut at the microweld, which may have been too much, because I see another space, like another disc from cutting about 2-3mm after the cap. Will post pics later if necessary, but I wanted to get a feel if anyone has comments
Also, everyone says replace O-rings, but these seem fine...?

Thanks,
Ambert

Why are you tearing you injectors apart?

Ouch. Hard to tell from the pic, but they look pretty effed up to me. You just cut at the microweld? Looks like the dremel slipped out of your hand and went wild. Might be able to salvage with some smoothing. SHould flow fine, just might leak?

second photo shows that you totally botched the job.
all you had to do was cut through the very thin cap.

oh well, you just lost one injector...

Umm...yeah...those are F'd. Takes a steady hand to modify correctly, looks like the dremel got alittle wild.

Obviously the 409 wheel is thicker than the weld itself, I misunderstood cutting at the microweld to mean at the actual weld.

sorry man, but from the pics at least one injector is wasted. the whole phrase "cut the caps off" is kinda misleading, though, because you don't really need to cut into anything...

really all you need to do is use the dremel to sand around the outside edge of the cap, and you don't need to use much force. the cap will just pop right off.
