I have come to the realization that I will probably never do anything more with my car, powerwise, after I am stage 2. I would, however, like to still mod the car and I know that there must be plenty to do when it comes to handling/suspension... unfortunately I do not know is recommended, nor do I really understand what some things are (endlinks?)
Obviously I want to do the normal things such as lowering and strut bars, but what else can use an upgrade to make the car more competitive in autocross? Sorry for my lack of understanding in the suspension/handling department. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! TIA

I would suggest that you read all the FAQ's here:http://www.whiteline.com.au/faqintro.htm
as well as read and keep an eye on this forum: http://www.suspensionparts.info/for....php?forumid=11 Another good thread: http://www.suspensionparts.info/sho...hp?threadid=294 After getting this basic suspension education you can understand and appreciate the benefit when we say get: STi JDM pink springs, STi Group N topmounts, F/R swaybars and a good alignment. |

Definitely get the swaybars and at least rear endlinks. Endlinks merely connext your swaybars to your suspension. They are tiny little bars. They dontlook very impressive, but they are important.
Anyway, I did sways and endlinks on my 05, and it completely got rid of the understeer and it handles AWESOME now! |

I'd recommend Whiteline's steering rack bushings to go along with what Arnie suggested, too.

what everyone has mentioned so far are good for starters, but if you wanted to get more advanced, you could get into coilovers, subframes, ladder bars, lateral and trailing links (which supposedly make a big difference), and maybe some other stuff I am forgetting.
