Unhappy CANCELLED: April 17th RallyCross at Thunderhill

Teh suck! This is what it looked like when there was only ONE lake. Now it has two.

Quote:
Dear RallyCross Participants,

Unfortunately due to the continued rain, the RallyCross site at Thunderhill is flooded. With two ponds up to a foot deep it will not be usable in time for the April 17th event. We attempted to drain the field with limited success, but the larger pond is there to stay until we get an extended break in the weather.

This event will be rescheduled, and as always new info will be posted online when available. In the meantime our next event will take place May 14th as scheduled. Online registration is now available for May 14th:

I feel your pain.

*has moment of silence*

At the end of the seasons I'm kind of ready for a break, but then the longer time goes by I... I start getting the shakes... and I start having the NEED to get out there again.

Well I was thinking we could lay the course out around the permiter of all the "water hazards" - then if you didn't take the right lines you'd sink.

The problem with that field is that it's mostly clay and kind of turns into a black hole of muck. The tractor can't even move in that stuff. It's too bad the whole fricken place is nearly under water, it'd be a lot of fun to have an extra slippery track.

Yeah, definitely. We'll be rescheduling that event as soon as we find something that works with Thunderhill.
