Default Ecutek Map Switch Question (ECU "Learning")

Question for Ecutek users.....

When I switch between maps all the time, am I basically "reseting" the ecu and the ecu has to "learn" the maps all over again everytime I switch maps?

For Example, If I use the less aggressive map 75% of the time, and then switch over to the more aggressive map, will the ECU need time to learn the new map? Meaning, I won't have optimal HP until the ecu has learned the map?

If you could help out that would be great.

As I understand it, you are not clearing/resetting the stored information in the dynamic maps with an ECU map switch.

However, as always, the ECU is adapting in areas. If you are using a less aggressive map and the ECU has learned within those constraints, switching to a more aggressive map will require time/miles before the ECU's learning is taking full advantage of the new parameters in effect.
