Default Anyone understand the unmarrying process of AP?

Hi,

Can anyone confirm that the unmarrying process fully and 100% reverts your ECU back to stock form? The reason I ask is that when I had the AP, I had a stalling issue which was a known bug for some 2004 WRXs running the latest maps. I unmarried the AP but I still stalled a couple of times though not nearly as frequently as with the AP on. I never had this issue before flashing with the AP the first time. I'm just wondering if there is some lingering logic still bound to the ECU. If anyone out there really understands how that process works, can you shed some light on this?

For a 2004 WRX I think that it just flashes a 04 Stock Auto map to the ecu.

From what I understand.
The "Stock" map from cobb is not the Stock OEM map.

no. the stock map is A stock map.
there are several stock maps depending on the version of the ecu
thus your cin an cvn may be differnt than what was origionaly there .. but they will match up to a subaru cin/cvn

I tried the new map for a couple of days but I still stalled. I am giving up on the AP.

Newest maps are 3-28-05, supposed to improve stalling issue.
