hi !
i'm frensh and i've a classic impreza 2.0turbo with many mods including a td05/06-20G and a boost controller blitz sbcid3 (and 550 injectors, remap....). this turbo can make a flow very important (as a td06-20g approximately) and i think i've some trouble with the BC...i can't up to 1.25b without the BC don't work fine (i've boost cut very important in fact)...i've setting a set of 69 for 1.25b (15 for gain). I ask me if the flow isn't to high for the BC, and if i should put a restrictor into the turbo-soleno inlet, to make down the set at, for example, 50 or 55...what do you think about that ? excuse me for my very bad english...but there's not many people in france who have this BC..... ![]()

i have the sbc id 3 and a a tdoh6-20 and had to go w/ an external wastegate to really control boost. mine didnt want to run anything less than 18-22lbs of boost, even w/ the controler off.

in fact, the boost cutting wasn't made by the boost controller (i've a trouble with my maf....)
but the blitz doesn't want to work great when i want to up the boost pressure (1.35b for example) : the boost "pump" very hardly between 1.1b and 1.35...so i thunk the air flow was too high when the BC drive the waste gate (0.6b....) i test with a restrictor into the inlet turbo-solenoid (1mm)..it's good ! i don't have any "pumping", the pressure is constant..after driving a lot, at start, it wasn't constant...so i've many question about the sbcid3 : i feel even in manual mode, the BC must learn ? is it right ? is someone already have to put a restrictor with a very big turbo and a blitz bc ? i've less boost in 1/2/3 than 4/5 (1.1/1.12/1.15.1.17/1.20), is it normal ? (with 58 set and 10 gain) thank to help me..i don't know what i've to think about this boost controller... i would like to have a constant boost between al gear by al wheather...and i don't know if i make the good choice in fact (with an avcr, is it would be better ?) |

are you sure the injectors can hold that turbo? i awlays thought peopel got 720cc

can someone confirm me the turbo hose is connect to "in" entry of solenoid and the "out" to the waste gate (internal)
i've seen different things on the site, and i would like be sure about that....thanks !! |
