Question 2.2l impreza exhaust question

So this sucks, I didn't realize I had the 2.2l engine in my subie. Doesn anyone know what happens if you put a COBB intake and exhaust package designed for the 2.5l engine on my model? I'm also emailing COBB but they aren't responding to emails to quickly.

intake will probably be fine. Exhaust too if the routing is the same. Call COBB directly. Your questions will be answered on the phone, instead of waiting for an email that probably is never going to be returned.

Well if the kit includes headers, I can tell u that 2.5l headers won't fit. ur 2.2l has single exhaust ports, whereas the 2.5l has dual exhaust ports. U'll have to get headers designed specifically for the 2.2l. the intake and cats/catback will fit though.

Thanks for the info Jared you're right of course, the best thing to do will be to call COBB directly.
