Map (Cell) Interpolation (Ecutek/Street Tuner)

1. Does the 05 WRX ECU interpolate between two cell sites?

Example: Car is running 4.0 G/s at 3000 rpm

One site is 2800 rpm and 4.0 g/s at +8 advance
another site is 3200 rpm and 4.0 g/s at + 9 advance

would the car target for 8.5 +advance?

I believe the ECU does interpolation.
