what takes puke out of the interiors well?? fast clean smelling?? fast!!!! help have to clean my rs out because well it has puke on and in it!! so suggestions on what i can do with what i have... 0$ so lets hear them suggestions ASAP!!!! the smell is killing me! and yes i am watching over the drunkerd now. must make sure she enjoyed her bday today!! but the ideas to clean the baby are needed 911!!!!!

This really works, try it.

Take allot orange peels (like 5-10 oranges)and leave them scattered throughout the car over night. The smell should be gone after that and you won't have a chemical smell in there either.

If that doesn''t completely work, put dryer sheets under the floor mats too. They will 'absorb' the odors.

Ick ... ok this is what I was told to do after my best friends brother "blessed" her interior . This may sound nasty ... but you're supposed to let it dry, after the mess is dried ... vacume as much as possible out. I know you don't have the $$ for this right now .. but when you can, go to a local grocery store and rent a carpet steam cleaner. That will get whatever stains are there and the smell. You might need to do it a few times .. but it works.

I like ANT wrx's idea ... I would do that. But when you have a couple of bucks go rent one of those cleaners ... or have a detail shop do it.

Another thing ... if she was anything like my friends brother. He tried to make it out the window, hense "tried". Some ended up in side the door and on the outside of the car. Make sure to look down in the window seal ... and scrap/whipe anything out that may be there , (that's a fun job). Also, if there was anything on the outside , throw some wax on there. More than likely the acid from "it all" stripped the wax off.

A steam cleaner will be the most thorough way.

If you only have a wet/dry vac try some Resolve carpet cleaner. At least that cleans up doggie puke well.

Baking soda will help absorb the smell.

If all you have is a basic dry vaccum, bury it with baking soda and vacuum the stuff out. Repeat as many times as it takes.

For your wife, ginger ale may help her nausea.

Same **** happened to me in my RS the very first day I bought it, my friend decided to puke on the back seats. I completely took out the back seats and thourghly washed them out with a hose and a **** load of dfferent chemicals, it took 2 days of washing till I was satisfied that the smell is gone.

Try Prosolve Carpet Cleaner and a nice stiff Brush, Just don't leave it in too long or it may discolor. You can get it at just about any grocery store. Comes in a red spray bottle. Also Try leaving the Doors open for a few weeks!

We use lemons at work to get rid of the smell of some cheese behind the counter and it work pretty good. Cut Sqeeze and soak.

One time, I spilled some chicken broth in my previous car. It was about 1/2 a cup of very rich soup. The smell got worse over the next week in hot and wet weather. I used Fabreeze, IPA, carpet cleaner... didn't work. Then I used Oxiclean, smell completely gone the next day. Just pour as much as you can on it and just absorb the mess back up with lots of paper towel.

On a friends wedding night I blessed my wifes car ... and myself... we used two bottles of febreeze and it was mostly gone but even still on the really hot and humid days the scent comes back ever so slightly

My suit on the other hand was another story ... the local dry leaner refused to do it ! They said go to a fire restoration place ... I did and they did a wonderful job on it .. cleaned with oxygen sprays and some other powerful sh|t ... still has a slight scent but you'd never know unless you were told.. Only problem was that the oxygen cleaning process tends to "yellow" things that are light colored. Luckily my suit was navy blue

I would recommend a lot of febreeze after a good thorough cleaning, steam would probably be best if you can't swing the pro's job...

By the way they had a car (Grand Am) in the shop they brought in from a crime scene... carjacking gone bad with VERY bad stains (blood etc) dried and set in ... by the time I picked up my suit the car had been cleaned up like new ! (of course it cost me $60 just for the suit) I'd hate to see the car's bill !

Everyone seems to be posting to get the smell out while disregarding the needed attention to the stain!
Dishwashing detergent with lots of water. Rinse with vinager. Dab with paper towel to absorb surface liquid and then shop vac it like crazy.
I had to deal with this once with a friend that just went too far. Had to drive him to the hospital and didn't have the foresight to take his car. Yes, he was fine after a night in ICU, but this sort of thing should be a heads up for all of you that have this fun stuff to look forward to. Try to avoid this situation. It's never as fun as people like to say.
