Default My rice for this year

Doogdog and I just finished installing these on my car.

http://www.redlinetuning.com/QL-SUBARU-WRX-0205.html

It didn't take very long maybe 45min screwing around. It is not a very hard install but you do have to drill a total of 10 holes in your car.

I didn't inflict any "more" damage than what was all ready there.

These things are sweet. I have been outside twice just to open the hood.

"...keeping you from the painful falling hood when you accidentally bump the prop rod from it's mount!"

does this really happen to people?

The WRX hood is so light it doesn't hurt.

Seriously, you could slam someone's head in the WRX hood and they would turn around and smack you.

Ya... if that latch had some mass behind it I could see that. I have had my hood come down on me twice it just stings a little. I would be more worried about it bending somehow then hurting you.

I was worried about the hood bending using these. From the feel of how the hood opens and closes now I don't think it will bend, unless you yank down on it real hard.
